Why this changed

The old setup made one label, "Sale," do two jobs at once — it marked the leads we were actively working and the ones who had already joined. That overlap is the reason members kept turning up in the lead list.

The new setup splits a lead into two flags: Stage (where they are in the funnel) and Status (how it ended up). Same lead, two flags. No more double-duty.

Stages — where they are

  1. New Lead — form submitted, not contacted yet
  2. Phone Intro Booked — phone call scheduled
  3. Phone Intro Showed — the call happened
  4. Onsite Booked — in-person visit scheduled
  5. Onsite Showed — they came in
  6. Considering — saw the studio, still deciding
  7. Re-engagement — no-show recovery, trying to reconnect

Status — how it ended up

  • Open — still working it
  • Won — became a member
  • Lost — said no
  • Abandoned — ghosted

Won, Lost, and Abandoned drop off the active kanban on their own. They are not deleted — they stay queryable for reporting. They just stop cluttering the board you work every day.
